[ since he doesn't manage to steer clear she's going to slam straight into him, BUT that does give him the perfect opportunity to activate charm. her tentacles coil around him and start to tighten as she starts biting his henshin, moving up toward his neck and face and then... she just stops. the tentacles don't unfurl, but she stares at him curiously, as if kind of... confused. like the sudden change in her feelings doesn't make sense and she knows that, but there's not much she can do. ]
[She knocks him down to the ground awkwardly, though he does at least manage to keep an arm mostly free of her tentacles. He doesn't move for a moment as he stares at her in return.]
[ she shoves him back and spins around, giving a sigh as she deflates just a little bit. ]
No. It was in the snake. But it's here, in this room, and I can't move it, which is why I can't show you. It's... [ she runs her fingers through her hair trying to think of the word. ] in custody, I guess is the best way I can think to describe it. It's still mine, but also kind of like... being watched a bit, by another party. Does that make sense?
[ she seems torn. like she can't decide what she wants to do, but as charm continues to manifest in her monster brain it eventually overrides everything else. but why is he in his armor? is he alright? is he... trapped? she immediately bites his shoulder, trying to help him out of it. making an assortment of distressed noises. ]
I want you to fill me in on everything you DO remember about them.
And who do you think, Intensity, my demon girlfriend. [ she walks over to one of the nearest walls and just sets her hand on it, closing her eyes. ] ...who else?
[Well. Going from aggressive bites to distressed bites is probably improvement?
He tries to get his free arm around her neck enough to tug her away. Maybe he should have done any research on dealing with real wild animals and not magic soul monsters.]
[ he manages and she moves off of him, but then coils her tentacles around his arms and tugs. hard. she's not going to stop trying to get his armor off, though after some realization she comes to the conclusion that it's just... not going anywhere. ]
The opening room had a fountain and a broken sculpture. The inscription on the sculpture was not of a language found in Liar Hell. And touching the water filled Duality with a feeling of worthlessness. Like everything was pointless.
[The armor is protective, but it doesn't stop it from feeling like his arms might be pulled out of their sockets, and he grunts through grit teeth as she tugs.
But at least he realizes she seems to be trying to pull his armor off rather than hurt him, now, and when she pauses he drops his Henshin warily, her grip loosening as his armor dissolves, ready to bring it back up again if she resumes her attack.]
[ as soon as his henshin drops she calms down and heads back over to his side, taking a seat and quirking her head to the side. he looks like he's alright, so she's just going to lean over and gently bump his head with her own. ]
[ doot. she lets him touch her, letting out some low grumble, because she's glad he's alright. his henshin armor makes her think he's going to attack her or that he, himself, is being harmed, so she was considerably alarmed, BUT all is well now. ]
...random transfers seem to be a thing lately. But this is just. [ she shakes her head. ] I'm glad avante was there for her. I wonder what could have... brought this on. [ she sits up. ] Do you remember when Eclipse was transferred, he was originally just going to be removed from the show, but he was given a second chance and moved to another unit. Do you think it was something like that, but without them bothering with the second chance? It was her will and avante that... [ just sort of trails off. ]
