I get in wrecks all the time, but... but then she wasn't the one next to me anymore. It was Kohime. And she was freaking out. Like, of course she was. We were going to crash.
I wanted to help her, but my tentacles, they... [ she starts breathing a bit heavier as she reaches to cup her face with her hand. ] they slithered up my arms and locked my hands in place, they snared them to the steering wheel. I could move. I- I was trapped. A- And she was screaming. She was going to die. [ tears well in her eyes as she can see the entire thing replaying all. over. again. ]
Then we crashed.
It was bad, but... but I can't die... [ she shuts her eyes and speaks more quietly. ] But she was right across from me, dead, and all I could do was stare at her...
