There is one other thing. It's... strange, and I'm not entirely certain what to make of it yet.

[unbuttons his shirt to tug it off his shoulder just a bit where she can see a series of small... nubs? growing out of his skin. they're dark and thick, just slightly thicker than hair, but they don't seem very hair-like]

[ she tilts her head and stares at the nubs. she's not sure what to make of them either, so she'll run her hand along them and hum, thoughtfully. ] I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. Do they... hurt?
