[ she looks aside and rubs the back of her neck. ]

I think Mercury had the right idea--and you have the right idea. ... And I think... if you work together with Northstar... this unit has a lot of potential. And more than that...

[ She reaches out and puts her hand on top of D.va's and squeezes. ]

... I know you have the courage and determination to make things work. Your heart has always been in the right place--and you've grown so much. I don't see how you can't succeed.

And as for what I can do, well--Things are a little different now. ... I won't be able to be around every day, but I promise I'll come visit at the center--and write to you all.

...mm. I know Northstar has been doing her best to, like, bring us all together and do team meetings and such, and I think that's been good for Heart, if not a bit difficult to start. [ a bit of a laugh, but a tired one at that. ] I'm going to do my best. I want us to be a team again, because, like, ...I hate to say it, but lately... I feel like things have... fallen apart lately...? I don't know how or when it happened, but... [ she shrugs a little helplessly. ] I want it to be like it was, y'know?

At least we have the visitation center...

It's just my impression, but--I've felt like actually... maybe... things have been turning around since Northstar showed up. King and I graduating is a bit of a damper, but at least in terms of getting along, I've thought we've done better--though I know I've missed a lot of the games... so perhaps I've missed some fractures and dissent.

[ She reaches over to squeeze D.va's fingers. ]

I'll be siding with hell, yes. There's still too much that needs to be done here. ... Come with me. There's something I want to show you.

I know she's been doing her best and, like, a lot of what she's been wanted to implement has had Hurricane kind of... well, y'know, so I've been trying to join in to make it less intimidating for him? I'm not sure that's the right word, but I'm sure you understand.

... [ she goes silent for a couple of seconds. ] Ah, y- yeah, losing two of our oldest members is... it sucks, if I'm being frank. And King and I, we were... and you and I were starting to... [ her hand starts trembling a bit, but the squeeze manages to get it under control. ]

Completely understandable. I'm glad you'll be able to get to see King again too. And, ah, sure. Lead the way.

I do understand. ... I'll try to have a talk with Northstar before I go... see if I can't figure out a way to hopefully help ease things.

[ She'll lead D.va to the common room, talking as they go. ]

We get along a lot better now than when you first arrived. It's okay to say it. I've been thinking about that, too... that things had really changed. It's never really happened before, that I've had a female friend I thought of as being like family... it's nice, if a little sad. But that's why I want to give this to you.

[ She pulls her phone out, opens up an app, and then recites something to it. She then takes a seat on a chair, and then pats her lap for D.va to sit down on top. ]

...good call. I think as long as we keep this up that we'll do alright. It did kinda seem like Hurricane was soooort of opening up to the idea of maybe kind of talking about some stuff. [ e- eheh. ]

Mm. [ smiles. ] ...same. A lot of my friends are mostly guys, because, like, [ she makes a motion to herself. ] I'm kind of a tomboy. But it was nice to have a girlfriend, especially one on the unit. [ her smile stiffens for a half a second. ] I kinda, like, thought the same. I did think a few of us as family. I know a lot has happening, but a couple of you guys are still super important to me and that's never going to change.

[ blinks, quirking her head. ]

Eh?! [ quickly climbs into hiryuu's lap. ] Where are we going???

Hm. You might be a tomboy, but that's not a bad thing. You're kind, and you're pretty easy to make friends with... Maybe you'll get lucky and there will be some more badass girls on Heart Soldier like you. It's definitely possible. --Hold on tight!

[ She wraps her arms around D.va's middle just moments before the chair suddenly starts to plummet backwards and down. ]

M- Maybe, but none of them are going to be you. [ clings to her. ] I expect letters, Hiryuu! Plenty of letters. [ cracks a small smile as she buries her face in her chest. ]

[ After a short plummet, the chair comes to a stop. D.va will find herself now in a basement room in which she's never been before. ]

Of course. I'm going to write and visit. You definitely haven't seen the last of me.

[ Gives her an extra squeeze in the hug. ]

...good. Maybe, like, we can have an HSS get together or something. [ since a number of them seemed to have suddenly graduated. she's going to squeeze hiryuu, but slide out of her lap as soon as they reach the bottom. ]

Where the heck are we?

This is a secret room that Wire and I bought.

[ Just the name of the other party involved ought to make clear how long ago that was. ]

At the time, there wasn't sound proofing in any of the bedrooms, the Love Hotel didn't exist, and some of our unitmates were a little... shy about having guests over for romantic evenings.

[ It's not the most atmospheric set-up, but you can't deny that it's private. ]

King knew about this place, but I haven't told anyone else about it up until now. Someone should have use of it after I'm gone, though... I'd like to give it to you.

...jeez. I can't believe this has just been sitting here this entire time and I never knew about it. [ snorts. ] I mean, like, fair. [ chuckles. ] And I don't blame you. It doesn't seem like something you need to go around spilling the beans about espe- w- what? F- For real? Are you sure Hiryuu?

[ blinks, feeling her face color. ]

It's a waste if it sits around unused, right?

You're sure you want *me* to have it?

Was there someone else on our unit better suited for it?

I- I don't know. I guess I'm just glad you think me worthy of something like this, but that also means I have to kind of, like, accept the fact that you're really leaving.

Oh... I guess it does make things feel pretty final.

[ ... Now's maybe not the time to tell her she's going to be transferring all of her points to her before graduation... ]

I guess I just feel bad. Since I won't be able to help you all directly in the coming days... I want to be able to give you something that can bring you comfort or happiness in my stead.

I bet it's, like, silly to think of it like that, because... I mean, it's like you said, we have the visitation center and thank god for that. I suggested it on a whim and I'm so glad everybody liked the idea. And even before that we had mail and junk. But. I'm going to miss you. A lot. And being given something so special to you is... it's a lot. And it meals a lot to me.

I'm going to treasure it, Hiryuu, and I really appreciate you giving it to me. I'll take care of it. [ she's going to hug her, tightly. ]

[ Well she's going to hug her back, just as fiercely. ]

I'm glad it went through too. It will make it a lot easier going ahead with this knowing that I can come visit you all whenever we want. I'm also going to miss you all dreadfully.

...and maybe, like, I'll be able to come see you guys down there now and again. I'm kind of close with NaFun AI. Not, like, incredibly close, but... I bug her sometimes and she responds. I think because I'm just hard to ignore. She mainly deals with Tokyo-F, but maybe, like, she could hook me up with... the other Hells... IDK. [ shrugs helplessly. ] In any case I'm glad this won't be the last I'll be seeing of you.

If it's safe for you to come visit somehow, of course you'd be welcome wherever we are. It definitely won't be the last you're seeing of us--I promise.

Well we have the visitation center now! So you guys can come here, if nothing else. I don't really think there's a safe way I can get to either of you.

Probably not... but if something were to happen and you ever needed a place to stay....!

But yes. You're right, we should probably hope that visitation remains just at the Game Tower....

I... appreciate that. I mean, like, who knows if there will ever be another maintenance or whatever. It's nice to have friends on the other side and stuff.
