[Gives her enough time to clean up, toss on her swimsuit under a light cardigan and some shorts, pick up a watermelon and pack a small bag before making her way to HSS. It's about five minutes early when she comes knocking on their door.]

It is a special occasion. [ boops her nose and leads her into her to the beach! there's also a bed in there, lol, but she'll take serenity down toward the water where there's already a small setup like this. ]

[ she takes her hand and leads her to the little set up, taking a seat and curling her tail around serenity. ] ...thanks for joining me. I... things have kind of been hard lately. Between the games and just, like, so many people graduating.

[Serenity leans against D.va's side, petting her tail.] ...a lot of people have been coming and going. It's... not easy. We're both the type of people who can't really help but get attached, huh? [Sighing softly--] It makes the good times really good but... the bad ones even harder.

...I know this is technically our first date, but-- If you're ever feeling lonely, you can ask me out anytime. If you're feeling sad or frustrated we can tear up the town. We don't have to talk about things if you don't want to but... you definitely don't ever have to be alone. 'kay?

...heh. It sure seems like it. [ she nods and shuts her eyes as a pleased hum leaves her. her tail shifts beneath the pets, because that feels real nice. ] It does. Like, I always make nice with, like, everybody, because I just love people, but then... it just hurts and hurts and hurts when they inevitably leave. It's such a catch22, a double-edged sword, ...

And the reverse is true too. You can always come to me. I have an excess of stuff for that exact kind of date. [ she turns to give her cheek a kiss. ] And you've done a great job of helping me through a number of the bad times, Serenity. I know I can already count on you. You're wonderful, I hope you know that.
