[ but then after a couple of seconds, and when her voice has grown a bit hoarse, she sits back in the truck and looks to him, ] So how's it feel, Hurricane?
Definitely. Like, riding a bike is just... it's almost like it's a part of you sometimes. [ she sways in her seat as she talks. ] Leaning into the turns and speeding down the road and hunkering down to lowering the wind resistance. It's just... it's so good.
Driving a car isn't like that at all. Cars are clunkier. This is kind of like driving the van. I should take you for a ride in one of my sportscars one day, and let you drive one of those. It's kind of like a mix between the two. I think you'll like it.
But, ah, sure! Sorry for the rambling. [ she'll take the wheel again. ]
You didn't do half bad. Did you want to take her out onto the open road? We're kind of cramped in here. Maybe it'd be easier if you stretched your fins a bit.
[ she's going to bring her around to the front of the stadium. ]
And then we'll take her out onto the open road.
[ revving the engine she punches it, speeding through the coarse, and though the ramps are pretty tiny ( at least comparatively ) she does manage to get a little air off one of them. ]
...ooooh, that kind of bubble. I thought you meant, like, a glass dome on top to mimic a fish bowl or something. [ laughs. ] But we could totally string up bubbles! We should put lights in them and make them glow too! I'm super hype about this.
[ she starts driving through the obstacle course again when CRUNCH... whelp. there goes THAT ramp. ]

[Please hold while he practices turning - not engaging with the obstacles so much as figuring out how to go through them without hitting anything.]
Re: Day 187, late
Wheeeeee~~~!

Re: Day 187, late
You wanna give it a go?

Re: Day 187, late
No problem, dude. It's kinda nice to get pointers from a master.
Re: Day 187, late
[ nudges him. ]
Re: Day 187, late
You don't wanna try out some obstacles first?

Re: Day 187, late
We totally gotta break out that glow-in-the-dark paint again, too.
[Leaning halfway out the window to see that thing get trashed, THIS TRUCK IS A BEAST.]
Re: Day 187, late
This place is going to look amazing when we're through.
And did we just run over something? [ because she BARELY felt it. ]
