[ hooks an arm under king’s thigh and coils her tail under intensity’s waist. ]

[ no response to that. she'll just relax, her tentacles all going slack at some point and dropping into their laps as she shuts her eyes and pretends to sleep. ]

[ just going to spend time trying to clear her head, fail spectacularly, and then think about what she can blow up to let off steam... ]

There is a lot to brood and fret about.

His hand keeps up its slow and methodical pace, and he eventually leans until his head rests on Intensity's shoulder. ]

Intensity shifts so that King doesn't have to crane his neck too much to reach his shoulder, rubbing circles into the back of his hand with his thumb. And he also gently rests a hand on D.Va's tail which is curled around him.




(But look, my friends. He is the king of insomnia. This pretending to sleep is not fooling anyone)]

[ if intensity's the king, then king's the queen and she's the princess. clearly no one's going to be getting any sleep here tonight. ]

[ the sound of the fireplace, real or not, and the fact that the both of them a here, sitting so closely, is definitely helping. this is nice. it's really really really nice. it's just a shame she can't enjoy it to its fullest, because she can't shake the bad feelings filling her head. ]

if she can't find the triggers, then she could hurt the people she loves and do nothing to prevent it. ]

[ she can’t help but let out a halfhearted laugh. ] Am I really that easy to read right now?

And excuse you, I was totally only imagining the second worst possible scenario.

[ shrugs. ] Yeah, but that’s... [ child’s play. she doesn’t want to get anybody any kind of actual hurt. ] I’ll figure something out. You know me~ [ is that a good thing? a bad thing? who knows! ]

[ He reaches around to tap her nose. ]

If it were rebuttal it would have been much louder. ]

[He has his eyes closed, really the only privacy he can give to two sappy people he's on a couch with.
